Zero Waste
Let's Protect Our Nature, Shape the Future!
With our Zero Waste approach, we aim to minimize waste production, conserve natural resources, and reduce environmental pollution. In line with this goal, we minimize waste production in our business processes and daily life, supporting environmental sustainability.
We organize training to spread and develop the Zero Waste system across all units, from offices to production units, and provide benefits to the raw material cycle and economic cycle with recyclable waste separated at the source. In this context, by establishing the Zero Waste management system in our facility, we have earned the Zero Waste Certificate issued by the Izmir Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.

Our Water
Water is one of the fundamental resources of life and can lead to significant environmental impacts if not used correctly. We have a commitment to protect water resources and reduce wastewater. We encourage the efficient use of water in our production processes and take measures to ensure water is used sparingly. We use effective methods for the treatment and recovery of wastewater. In this way, we minimize the harmful effects of wastewater and protect natural resources.
We work in compliance with the Environmental Law No. 2872 and its regulations and meticulously fulfill our environmental legal obligations. We manage waste and wastewater management processes in accordance with legislation. In this context, we have an Environmental Permit Certificate issued by the Izmir Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change and a Wastewater Connection Quality Control Permit issued by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Sewerage Administration.

Energy efficiency is a fundamental principle in combating climate change. We take various measures to increase energy efficiency. We reduce our carbon footprint by using renewable energy sources in our factory. At the same time, we minimize energy consumption by using energy-efficient equipment and processes.
We act with an awareness of being environmentally conscious and operate our energy management system within the framework of established standards. With the energy management system we have established, we monitor the energy consumed and plan activities aimed at continuous improvement. We choose equipment that consumes less energy, consider energy in the design of our processes, and organize training to raise our employees’ awareness.

SEDEX, Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, is a non-profit organization supporting the development of responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains. Companies with the SEDEX Certificate can demonstrate corporate development in worker rights, health and safety, and environmental and business ethics. Through this certificate, member companies engage in joint activities to contribute to each other’s development. Dalan is a member of the SEDEX system, and access to reports by authorized companies is provided at the end of audits conducted by independent institutions annually.

Our Occupational Health and Safety Principle
We regard the health and safety of our employees as the top priority. Our commitment to occupational health and safety is to ensure all our employees work in a safe environment and to minimize health-related risks. We use necessary procedures and methods to ensure quality control and traceability, from the proper storage and processing of raw materials to product packaging. While offering reliable products to our customers, we also aim to adhere to environmentally friendly and sustainable production principles.
