About Pharmaceutical and Technical Glycerin;
Areas of Usage; Glycerin is a raw material used in many industries. It is used as a thickening agent, solvent and sweetener in foods. Furthermore, it is used in many personal care and cosmetic products as it is a very good moisturizer for the skin. It nourishes the skin.
- Properties ; Glycerin is an organic compound known as glycerol. It is a colorless, odorless, clear liquid at room conditions. It's soluble in water and alcohol.

Crude Glycerin, is the glycerin , supplied to the market with going through no process after the production or processed under simple purification methods, whereas refined glycerin is the glycerin, produced through the various advanced purification methods of the crude glycerin.
Refined glycerins are examined in 5 groups depending on their technical features (such as percentage of glycerin content, density, color, heavy metal limits);
Type 1: Analytical grade pure glycerin
